The Quantum Daily released The Quantum Annual Review, a report featuring the top ten stories that moved the quantum industry during 2020 and a recap of critical financial data.
The stories were selected based on web statistics, overall scientific and societal impact and general media coverage, according to Matt Swayne, The Quantum Daily contributor.
In addition to 2020’s big stories, the newsletter reviews key financial data for the year, including capital flowing into the quantum industry and the total number of funding rounds in 2020. Fundraises for the final quarter of 2020 are also reviewed in the annual report.
The data for the annual report was drawn from The Quantum Insider, the quantum industry’s most in-depth database. TQI features a complete industry map with key insights and subsectors profiling the various QC stakeholders and their technological developments. TQI also identifies capital market players and the investments they make.
