    Cambridge Quantum Computing (CQC) is a global leader in software and enterprise applications that help its partners, collaborators, and clients to work effortlessly across multiple platforms and solve some of the most intriguing problems in their industry through quantum computing. CQC is a global leader in quantum software and quantum algorithms and operates at the very core of quantum computing, a fast evolving and dynamic sector. CQC’s focus is to work with global corporations in large addressable markets, and we have already built strong engagements with some of the world’s leading companies such as Total S.E, Nippon Steel, and CERN. Our core focus is in quantum software and enterprise applications in the area of quantum chemistry, quantum machine learning, and quantum encryption.

    The Role
    As we continue to scale the team, we are excited to have created the opportunity for a number of Business Development & Product Lead’s to join our team, in the following specialist areas:

    – Quantum Machine Learning
    – Optimisation and Finance
    – Quantum SDK’s and Compilation

    Within this client facing role you will be responsible for developing relationships with some of the world’s leading companies to identify their needs.  Using CQC’s quantum technologies and expertise, you will devise business solutions and highly technical research projects that help tackle real world problems.  You will be supported by a lead generation team and an existing pipeline.  You will also be motivated to achieve sales targets and bring on board new clients.

    Importantly, you will also own the responsibility for building a sophisticated product framework and development roadmap in your specialist area.   Your insight and knowledge gained from directly interacting with clients and the relationships you build with our world class scientific teams means that you are in a unique position to develop world class products that are commercially meaningful to our customers.  You will be fully supported in training and developing your skills across all aspects of this role.

    About You
    The most critical attributes in this role are that you have a recent PhD in a related scientific area, a passion for quantum computing and emerging technology as well as a significant motivation to work with both external clients and internal scientific teams.

    You may have previous experience in this field from a product or commercial perspective.  However, if you do not have this experience, not to worry, within this role you will be supported by an extensive training and development program in order to grow your skill set.  At CQC we act as a team and highly value innovation, we also recognise the need for inclusion, diversity and each individual’s contribution.
