PASQAL (www.pasqal.io) designs and develops Quantum Processing Units and dedicated software tools. These innovative processors address applications which are out of the reach of the most powerful existing supercomputers, encompassing real-world challenges as well as fundamental science. To support the growth of the Engineering and Production department at PASQAL, a new position of “Embedded Systems Engineer” is now open; the job covers among others the following tasks:
– Design and test:
o Design of electrical boards according to specifications
o Schematics entry / update and Layout (Orcad)
o Testing / debugging
o Microcontroller programming in C
o Support for system integration
o Support for product certification
– Production / industrialization:
o Follow-up of boards manufacturing
o Modules / boards assembly, cable manufacturing
o Modules testing before integration
o Failure diagnosis and repair
– In charge of the electrical laboratory installations (equipment maintenance and component supply)
Qualification & experience
Engineering or Master’s degree, with ideally 2 to 5 years of professional experience.
You are really excited about new technologies and the scientific challenges we are facing.
You wish to take an active part in the growth of a young company and have your technical skills grow with it.
You enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
– Strong basis in digital electronics
– Microcontroller programming (C) with real-time constraints
– Laboratory tools
– Mechanical and / or FPGA skills would be a plus
– IAR; Keil or equivalent
– Fluent in English
